Quiz bowl meetings are currently being held Thursdays after school. This may change in the future, however. Please check the files page to vote on a practice time.

When Do We Meet?
Do I Need to Study?
If so, from Where?

While many people do not study for quiz bowl, those who do so are at an advantage over those who don't in terms of having a broader knowledge. Many questions commonly come up during quiz bowl, so the more you play the more you'll know in the future. If you do wish to study, the NAQT website has lists on the most commonly referenced subjects in each category. These can be found here

"Quiz bowl is a game in which two teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, sports, and popular culture.

Do I Have to Be Able to Answer Most of the Questions?

NO

 


Many good quiz bowl team have players who are individually good at different subjects. For example, one player might excel at literature, one science, one geography, and one miscellaneous.
